The following presentation was given to the Board of Selectmen on Thursday, November 9, by the Woods Hole Group. This was the end result of a process that was started two years ago by the HRA in order to look at and revise the town's FEMA flood maps. As you look through this presentation you will notice that over 1,000 residences will be affected in a positive way.
The Hull Redevelopment Authority is pleased to announce that we will be conducting a public forum for the residents of Hull to educate homeowners on flood insurance issues. Various methods to help reduce your flood insurance costs by retrofitting your house will be presented.
Speakers will include: representatives from The Building Department, The Conservative Commission, an insurance company, real estate agent, and a land surveyor—all who have experience helping residents reduce their flood insurance expenses. This forum will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015, at Hull High School. The meeting will start promptly at 7:00pm and is scheduled to end at 9:30pm.
Please enter your name and email address below if you will be joining us at the forum.
