What are the updates on the HRA property as of May 11, 2023?
The HRA has held two sets of public presentations and forums on its draft Urban Renewal Plan. Each set of meetings included one in-person meeting and one virtual meeting covering the same material. These meetings were held in February and March.
Based on the feedback received from the public at these meetings and in order to collect more data and make additional updates to the draft plan, the HRA is rescheduling the next set of presentations (previously scheduled for April) for dates in June.
Ongoing research includes:
A worksheet that will allow the HRA to explore the cost of various improvements/maintenance to the property and what degree of development may be needed to make this happen. This worksheet will allow a variety of options to be explored in terms of financial viability.
Exploration of a web-based 3-D model of how the property may be improved/developed allowing for a 3-D visual of how it may look in various levels of improvement/development.
The HRA has updated its website to include links to recordings of the ongoing presentations and forums about the draft Urban Renewal Plan, summaries of public commentary at these meetings, and copies of the PowerPoint presentations used at the meetings.
