Hello, my husband and I just returned from a two-week trip to Israel for work and this is what they're doing between their major road that separates their hotels in Tel Aviv from their beach not a bad idea walkways/parks and by the way, this is in addition to a Boardwalk they already have that's very bike friendly and walking friendly.
